These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the MediKok mobile application ("the App"). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
MediKok is a medication reminder and dose tracking application. It lets you register medications, receive scheduled reminders, check off doses, view adherence history, and optionally track remaining stock. All medication data is stored locally on your device.
The App is a convenience tool, not a medical device or a source of medical advice. Reminder times, adherence statistics, and stock alerts are provided for informational purposes only. Decisions about taking, skipping, changing, or stopping any medication must always be made in consultation with your doctor or pharmacist. Never rely solely on the App for critical medication schedules.
The App schedules notifications using your device's operating system. Delivery may be affected by factors outside our control, including device power state, battery optimization settings, "Do Not Disturb" mode, revoked notification permissions, or OS-level restrictions. We do not guarantee that every notification will be delivered, and we are not liable for damages resulting from missed or delayed reminders.
Medication data is stored only on your device. There is no server backup — if the App is deleted or data is removed via the in-app delete feature, the data cannot be recovered. Handling of operational data is described in our Privacy Policy.
The App is provided free of charge and displays banner advertising served by Google AdMob. We may change or discontinue features, or terminate the service, without prior notice.
The App, including its name, logo, design, and code, is the property of the developer and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, the developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the App — including damages related to missed doses or data loss.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced on this website or within the App. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea.
